• For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
• For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

LIPG (Lipase G, Endothelial type) is an endothelial lipase and a member of the lipoprotein lipase gene family. It is synthesized by endothelial cells and functions locally at the site of synthesis. LIPG modulates lipoprotein metabolism, where overexpression reduces HDL cholesterol levels and deficiency increases them. It exhibits phospholipase activity and contributes to lipoprotein metabolism and vascular biology. As a member of the triglyceride lipase family, LIPG has a characteristic lid region conferring substrate specificity. It acts as a carboxyl esterase that hydrolyzes high-density lipoproteins, emulsifies triglycerides, and is essential for efficient digestion of dietary fats. LIPG can also bind to heparin.
