For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

TCEB1, also known as protein elongin C, is a subunit of the transcription factor B (SIII) complex, which consists of elongins A/A2, B, and C.
This complex enhances elongation by RNA polymerase II by preventing transient pausing of the polymerase during transcription.
Elongin A serves as the active component, while elongins B and C are regulatory subunits.
Elongin A2 is testis-specific and forms stable complexes with elongins B and C.
The von Hippel-Lindau tumor suppressor protein binds to elongins B and C, thereby inhibiting transcription elongation.
Western blot validation using two different antibodies against unique regions of this protein confirmed consistent molecular weight results.
