Influenza A와 B는 인간 감염을 유발하는 두 가지 인플루엔자 바이러스 유형입니다. 현재 순환 중인 Influenza B 바이러스는 항원적 및 유전적으로 구별되는 Victoria 계통과 Yamagata 계통 두 그룹으로 나뉩니다. Influenza virus B는 Orthomyxoviridae과에 속하며, 제한된 숙주 범위로 인해 대유행은 드뭅니다. 핵단백질은 음성 가닥 바이러스 RNA를 핵산분해효소로부터 보호하며, 캡시드화된 RNA는 리보핵단백질(RNP)이라 불리며 전사 및 복제의 주형으로 작용합니다.
