Target Information
Venezuelan equine encephalitis virus (VEEV)는 Togaviridae과 Alphavirus 속에 속하는 바이러스입니다.
VEEV는 네 가지 비구조 단백질(nsP1, nsP2, nsP3, nsP4)과 다섯 가지 구조 단백질(capsid (C), envelope (E3, E2, 6k, E1))을 암호화합니다.
Nsp1 유전자는 바이러스 복제에 필수적인 51-nt 보존 서열 요소(CSE)를 포함하며, 이 CSE의 변이 또는 결실은 감염력 상실을 초래합니다.
이는 바이러스 복제 복합체에 의한 RNA 코어 프로모터 인식 효율 저하 때문으로 추정됩니다.
Nsp1은 메틸트랜스퍼레이스 및 구아닐화 효소로 작용하며, 이는 VEEV 게놈 RNA의 5' 캡핑에 필요합니다.
