KN52 항체는 인간 integrin beta 5를 인식하며, 약 100,000 Mr (환원형) 및 95,000 Mr (비환원형) 크기의 단백질입니다. Integrin beta 5는 alpha v 서브유닛과 결합하여 vitronectin receptor 복합체를 형성합니다. 이 복합체는 Tat 단백질의 기본 도메인(RKKRRQRRR 서열)과 결합할 수 있습니다.
Integrin beta 5는 암세포주, 간암세포주 및 섬유아세포에서 발현되며, 림프모구세포 및 혈소판에서는 발현되지 않습니다. KN52 단일클론 항체는 세포 이동 억제 효과가 보고되었습니다.
