1 µg/mL of MA5-45522 was sufficient for detection of Copper-transporting ATPase2 in 20 µg of rat brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
Detects approximately 160 kDa in rat brain membrane preparations.
This antibody was formerly sold as clone S62-29.
Target Information
ATP7B gene encodes a P-type cation transport ATPase with multiple membrane-spanning domains, an ATPase consensus sequence, hinge domain, phosphorylation site, and copper-binding sites.
It functions as a monomer exporting copper out of cells, such as hepatic copper efflux into bile.
Alternate splice variants yield isoforms with distinct localizations.
Mutations are associated with Wilson disease (WD).
