Product Specific Information
- PA1-834 detects JunD from mouse cells.
- Successfully used in Western blot and ChIP procedures.
- Detects proteins of approximately 37–41 kDa representing JunD from both uninduced and induced mouse NIH 3T3 cells.
- The immunogen sequence (G329–Y341) is completely conserved between mouse, human, and rat.
- Reconstitute with PBS before use.
Target Information
JunD is a transcription factor encoded by the JunD gene. Its transcriptional activity is regulated by phosphorylation in response to cellular stress through the JNK/SAPK pathway. Jun proteins can form dimers with Fos, ATF, and CREB family transcription factors to create the AP-1 complex, which regulates genes involved in cell growth, proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis.
Additionally, JunD is implicated in metabolic regulation via modulation of the IGF-1 signaling pathway.
