PA1-836 detects SNX1 in human and mouse samples and is recommended for use with recombinant protein.
This antibody has been successfully used in Western blot and ICC/IF applications.
By Western blot, it detects a ~60 kDa protein representing SNX1 in human samples.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues Q(139)–I(155) of human SNX1 (Cat. # PEP-286), available for use in neutralization and control experiments.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the sorting nexin (SNX) family, which contains a phox (PX) domain involved in phosphoinositide binding and intracellular trafficking.
SNX1 regulates the cell-surface expression of the epidermal growth factor receptor and participates in sorting protease-activated receptor-1 from early endosomes to lysosomes.
It may form oligomeric complexes with other family members.
Three transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
