Product Specific Information

  • For IHC on PFA-fixed tissues: incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  • For formalin-fixed tissues: heat sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Target Information

Cathepsin K는 뼈 재형성과 흡수에 관여하는 리소좀 시스테인 단백질분해효소입니다. 주로 파골세포에서 발현되며, 일부 인간 유방암에서도 높은 발현을 보여 종양 침습성에 기여할 수 있습니다.
이 유전자의 돌연변이는 골경화증과 단신증을 특징으로 하는 상염색체 열성 질환인 pycnodysostosis의 원인으로 알려져 있습니다. 또한 RNA 편집의 영향을 받을 수 있습니다.
