Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature (RT).
- For formalin-fixed tissues: Heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, then cool at RT for 20 min.
Target Information
Cathepsin K는 골 재형성과 흡수 과정에 관여하는 리소좀성 시스테인 단백질분해효소입니다. 주로 파골세포에서 발현되며, 인간 유방암에서도 높은 발현을 보여 종양 침습성에 기여할 수 있습니다. 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 골경화증과 저신장으로 특징지어지는 상염색체 열성 질환인 pycnodysostosis의 원인입니다. 또한 RNA 편집의 영향을 받을 수 있습니다.
