Target Information
Glutathione S-transferase (GST) is a 26 kDa protein found in both eukaryotes and prokaryotes, catalyzing a variety of reactions. GST is widely used to create GST gene fusion systems, enabling purification of fusion proteins via glutathione affinity. These fusion proteins are valuable for studying protein–protein interactions and have been incorporated into numerous expression vectors.
