Product Specific Information
Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.
Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
Reacts specifically with p13 in human granulocytes and monocytes residing in lymphoid and non-lymphoid tissues.
The antibody recognizes a 13 kDa band corresponding to p13. Cross-reactivity from other sources has not been determined.
Target Information
This gene encodes a core component of the exosome. The mammalian exosome is required for rapid degradation of AU-rich element-containing RNAs but not for poly(A) shortening.
The association of this protein with the exosome is mediated by protein-protein interactions with ribosomal RNA-processing protein 42 and ribosomal RNA-processing protein 46.
