Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine C10 (CCL6). Anti-Murine C10 (CCL6)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Murine C10 (CCL6) matrix.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Murine C10 (CCL6) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Murine C10 (CCL6) (500-P112Bt) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Murine C10 (CCL6).

Western Blot:
To detect Murine C10 (CCL6) by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Murine C10 (CCL6) is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 6 (CCL6) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that has only been identified in rodents.
In mice, CCL6 is expressed in cells from neutrophil and macrophage lineages and can be greatly induced under conditions suitable for myeloid cell differentiation. It is highly expressed in bone marrow cultures stimulated with GM-CSF. Low levels of gene expression occur in certain myeloid-origin cell lines (e.g., DA3, 32D cl3, P388D) and can be induced with GM-CSF. In activated T cell lines, CCL6 expression is reduced.
CCL6 can also be induced in the mouse lung by interleukin 13. Mouse CCL6 is located on chromosome 11, and its receptor is believed to be chemokine receptor CCR1.
