Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine C10 (CCL6). Anti-Murine C10 (CCL6)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Murine C10 (CCL6) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Murine C10 (CCL6) (500-P112) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Murine C10 (CCL6).

Western Blot:
To detect mC10 by Western Blot analysis, use at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant mC-10 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 6 (CCL6) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family identified only in rodents. In mice, CCL6 is expressed in neutrophil and macrophage lineages and is induced under myeloid differentiation conditions. It is highly expressed in bone marrow cultures stimulated with GM-CSF. Low gene expression occurs in certain myeloid cell lines (e.g., DA3, 32D cl3, P388D) and can be induced by GM-CSF. In activated T cell lines, expression is reduced. CCL6 can also be induced in mouse lung by interleukin 13. The CCL6 gene is located on chromosome 11, and its receptor is believed to be CCR1.
