Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).


Target Information

IKBKE is an activator of nuclear factor-kappa-B (NF-κB). Overexpression of IKBKE has been observed in breast cancer cells, and suppression induces cell death.
NF-κB is a key transcription factor mediating immune and inflammatory responses. It is regulated by Ikappa-B proteins in the cytoplasm, which are phosphorylated by the IKK complex (containing IKK-α, IKK-β, and IKK-γ).
A novel molecule in this complex, IKK-ε (also known as IKK-iota/IKK-i), is required for NF-κB activation by PMA and T cell receptors but not by TNF-α or IL-1.
IKK-ε expression is inducible by TNF-α, IL-1, and LPS in various tissues.
