Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The ATF1 gene encodes an activating transcription factor belonging to the ATF subfamily and bZIP (basic-region leucine zipper) family.
It regulates expression of downstream genes involved in growth, survival, and other cellular processes.
Phosphorylation at serine 63 by multiple kinases enhances its transactivation and transcriptional activity, contributing to cell transformation.
Chromosomal translocations involving this gene can produce chimeric proteins associated with angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma and clear cell sarcoma.
A pseudogene is located on chromosome 6.
