Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
CSTF2 is one of three cleavage stimulation factors (CSTF1, CSTF2, CSTF3) that combine to form CSTF, which is involved in the polyadenylation and 3'-end cleavage of pre-mRNAs. CSTF2 contains a ribonucleoprotein-type RNA binding domain and is upregulated during activation of B cells, contributing to the switch of IgM heavy chain mRNA from membrane-bound to secreted form.
