• Reconstitute the lyophilized antibody with deionized water (or equivalent) to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.
• GLP1R binds specifically to glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP1) and has much lower affinity for related peptides such as gastric inhibitory polypeptide and glucagon.
• GLP1R is expressed in pancreatic beta cells and stimulates the adenylyl cyclase pathway, increasing insulin synthesis and release.
• Suggested as a potential target for diabetes treatment.
• Also expressed in the brain, involved in appetite control, and overexpression in mice enhances memory and learning.
• Produced from a hybridoma formed by fusion of SP2/0-Ag14 myeloma and B-lymphocytes from a mouse immunized with plasmid DNA encoding full-length human GLP1R.

Target Information

• Glucagon-like peptide-1(9-36)amide and GLP-1(9-37) are degradation products of active GLP-1 forms (GLP-1(7-36)amide and GLP-1(7-37)) by dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP-IV/CD26).
• GLP-1 is a peptide hormone of the glucagon family, produced by intestinal L cells, and stimulates glucose-dependent insulin secretion.
• The GLP-1 sequence is fully conserved across mammalian species.
