0.5 µg/mL of MA5-45188 was sufficient for detection of 50 ng YDJ1 by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects approximately 40 kDa. Yeast-specific product. Does not cross-react with Human, Mouse, or Rat.
Target Information
TCF-9 (transcription factor 9), also known as C2orf3, GCF, or DNABF, is a 781 amino acid nuclear protein belonging to the GCF family. It binds GC-rich sequences of β-Actin, EGFR, and CANP promoters. GCF contains multiple phosphoserine and phosphothreonine residues, and two isoforms are produced via alternative splicing. GCF is considered a candidate gene for dyslexia susceptibility (DYX3) due to proximity on human chromosome 2, which encodes over 1,400 genes and comprises about 8% of the human genome.
