Product Specific Information
- 0.5 µg/mL of MA5-45186 was sufficient for detection of 50 ng YDJ1 by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
- Detects approximately 40 kDa.
- Yeast-specific product. Does not cross-react with Human, Mouse, or Rat.
Target Information
TCF-9 (transcription factor 9), also known as C2orf3, GCF, or DNABF, is a 781 amino acid nuclear protein of the GCF family. It binds GC-rich promoter sequences of beta-Actin, EGFR, and CANP genes. Two isoforms exist due to alternative splicing. TCF-9 is a candidate gene for dyslexia (DYX3) susceptibility, located on human chromosome 2, which encodes over 1,400 genes and represents ~8% of the human genome.
