This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%) to prevent contamination.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select optimal clones for production.

This antibody has specificity for Human ADAM15/MDC15.
Target Information
The ADAM15 gene encodes a member of the ADAM (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase) family of type I transmembrane glycoproteins. These proteins are involved in cell adhesion and proteolytic ectodomain processing of cytokines and adhesion molecules. ADAM15 contains multiple functional domains including:
- Zinc-binding metalloprotease domain
- Disintegrin-like domain
- EGF-like domain
Through its disintegrin-like domain, ADAM15 interacts with the integrin beta chain (β3) and Src family protein-tyrosine kinases in a phosphorylation-dependent manner, suggesting roles in both cell adhesion and signal transduction. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
