Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The ERBB2 (neu/HER2) oncogene is a critical predictor for patient outcome and therapy response in breast cancer.
C35 (C17orf37) is a novel tumor biomarker highly expressed in breast cancer.
The C35 gene is located on chromosome 17q12, approximately 505 nucleotides from the 3′ end of the ERBB2 oncogene, the target for trastuzumab (Herceptin) therapy.
C35 and ERBB2 genes are arranged tail-to-tail. The ORF37 open reading frame encodes a 12-kDa protein of currently unknown function.
