Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
SSU72 is a highly conserved homologue of yeast Ssu72, a CTD phosphatase and a component of the polyadenylation/termination machinery.
Human Ssu72 is located on Chromosome 1p36 and represents a single gene. It was identified as a pRb binding factor and interacts with TFIIB and yeast PTA1.
Antibodies recognize a single band (~30 kDa) on immunoblots of various human cell lines but show weak reactivity with mouse tissues.
