Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882) to ensure carrier-free conditions.
Target Information
SSU72 is a highly conserved homologue of yeast Ssu72, a CTD phosphatase and component of the polyadenylation/termination machinery.
In humans, SSU72 is located on Chromosome 1p36 and represents a single gene. It was identified as a pRb binding factor and shown to interact with TFIIB and yeast PTA1.
This antibody recognizes a single band of approximately 30 kDa on immunoblots of various human cell lines but may not perform well on mouse tissues.
