Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The NCF4 protein is a cytosolic regulatory component of the superoxide-producing phagocyte NADPH-oxidase complex, essential for host defense.
It is predominantly expressed in myeloid lineage cells and interacts with NCF2/p67-phox and NCF1/p47-phox to form a complex that associates with RAC1 and activates flavocytochrome b upon stimulation.
Its PX domain binds phospholipid products of PI(3) kinase, indicating a role in PI(3) kinase-mediated signaling. Phosphorylation negatively regulates enzyme activity, and multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants exist.
