Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates.

Target Information

The TBR1 gene belongs to a conserved family of genes sharing a common DNA-binding domain, the T-box. T-box genes encode transcription factors involved in developmental regulation.
In mice, disruption of a similar protein leads to loss of projection neurons in the olfactory bulbs and cortex, indicating its role in early cortical development. The C-terminal region is essential for association with the guanylate kinase domain of calcium/calmodulin-dependent serine protein kinase.
