Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.
Advantages include:

  • Better specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulations
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to larger rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information

PGC-1 beta is a tissue-specific co-activator that enhances the activity of estrogen receptor alpha. Its co-activation function depends on a bipartite transcriptional activation domain and two LXXLL motifs that interact with the AR2 domain of ER-alpha in an estrogen-dependent manner.
Ectopic expression of this protein increases mitochondrial number and basal oxygen consumption.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
