Target Information
Complement component C3 is a key protein in the complement system where classical and alternative activation pathways converge at the C3 activation step. Upon activation, C3 is cleaved into C3a and C3b.
C3 has a molecular mass of approximately 185 kDa and consists of two chains (110 kDa and 75 kDa) linked by disulfide bonds.
