Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
CPA1, also known as Carboxypeptidase A1, is a 419 amino acid secreted monomeric protein highly expressed in pancreatic tissue. It functions as a zinc-dependent exopeptidase that catalyzes the release of C-terminal amino acids from proteins, playing a key role in protein digestion. CPA1 may also regulate zymogen activation pathways and is associated with pancreatic cancer, suggesting roles in tumor progression or suppression.
