Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed):
- 항체를 실온에서 30분간 반응시킵니다.
- 포르말린 고정 조직 염색 시, 10 mM Tris와 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) 용액에서 95°C로 45분간 가열 후, 실온에서 20분간 냉각합니다.

이 단백질은 zinc를 보조인자로 사용하여 다양한 단백질의 C-말단 아미노산을 절단하는 췌장 외펩티다아제로 작용하며, 단백질 소화 및 분해에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
또한, CPA1은 효소 활성화 경로를 억제하는 기능을 가질 수 있으며, 비정상적인 CPA1 발현은 췌장암과 관련이 있는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
