Target Information

TDP43는 HIV-1 바이러스 TAR DNA 서열 모티프에 결합하여 HIV-1 LTR의 전사 억제자로 작용하는 세포 단백질로 처음 확인되었습니다. 이후 연구에서 TDP43이 CFTR 유전자의 엑손 9 스플라이싱을 조절함을 밝혔으며, 이는 3' 스플라이스 부위의 UG 반복 서열과의 결합을 통해 이루어집니다. 과인산화되고 유비퀴틴화된 절단 형태의 병리적 TDP43은 tau- 및 alpha-synuclein-음성 전측두엽 치매(FLTD-U)의 주요 병리 단백질입니다. TDP43은 HIV-1 TAR RNA 서열에 결합하는 RNA 결합 단백질 TRBP1과는 관련이 없습니다.
