Description:
The MIH12 monoclonal antibody reacts with human B7RP-1 (B7h, B7-H2, GL50, ICOS Ligand). B7RP-1 is a member of the B7 family with a predicted molecular weight of ~40 kDa and is expressed by activated monocytes/macrophages. It binds to ICOS on activated T cells, playing a key role in T cell costimulation.

Applications Reported:
Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-diluted and tested by flow cytometry using human peripheral blood monocyte-derived dendritic cells.
Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Fluorochrome Information:
PerCP-eFluor 710 emits at 710 nm and is excited with the blue laser (488 nm).
Use a 710/50 bandpass filter (or 695/40 as alternative).
Ensure instrument compatibility.

Light Sensitivity:
Sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect vial and samples from light.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using:

• IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49)
• 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-57)

Excitation / Emission: 488 nm / 710 nm
Laser: Blue laser

Target Information

Inducible co-stimulator ligand (ICOSL) is a specific ligand on antigen-presenting and peripheral tissue cells that binds to ICOS, a receptor in the CD28/CD152 family. ICOSL expression is induced by inflammatory stimuli and provides co-stimulatory signals for T cell proliferation and cytokine secretion.
