Product Specific Information
The 6C3 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse BP-1 (Ly-51, 6C3 antigen), a 140 kDa type II transmembrane protein forming a disulfide-linked homodimer. BP-1 exhibits aminopeptidase A (APA) activity and is expressed by bone marrow stromal cells, thymic cortical epithelial cells, and early-stage mouse B cells (pre-B cells). Expression can be upregulated by IL-7.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
- Applications Tested: Tested on mouse bone marrow cells; ≤1 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell count: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Optimize by titration.
Fluorochrome Information:
PerCP-eFluor® 710 emits at 710 nm and is excited at 488 nm (blue laser). Recommended filter: 710/50 bandpass (alternative: 695/40). Ensure instrument compatibility.
Light Sensitivity: Protect vial and stained samples from light.
Fixation: Samples can be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using:
- IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222)
- 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333)
Clone-specific fixation performance should be verified empirically. - Excitation:* 488 nm; Emission: 710 nm; Laser: Blue Laser.
