For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.

Target Information

The F13A1 gene encodes the coagulation factor XIII A subunit, the final zymogen activated in the blood coagulation cascade. Plasma factor XIII is a heterotetramer (2 A subunits + 2 B subunits), where A subunits are catalytic and B subunits act as carrier molecules.
Upon thrombin cleavage and calcium presence, the B subunits dissociate, yielding the active enzyme factor XIIIa. This enzyme functions as a transglutaminase, catalyzing crosslinking between fibrin molecules to stabilize clots.
Factor XIII deficiency can cause bleeding disorders, poor wound healing, and habitual abortion, categorized as type I (A and B subunit deficiency) or type II (A subunit deficiency).
