Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Cellular senescence refers to the terminal non-dividing state that normal cells enter after their proliferative potential is exhausted. Fusions of immortal human cell lines have categorized them into four complementation groups.
Mortality factor 4 (MORF4) was identified as a key member of a family of transcription factor-like proteins capable of reversing the immortal phenotype. MORF4 localizes to the nucleus and contains transcription factor-like motifs, such as helix-loop-helix and leucine zipper motifs, which may enable formation of transcriptionally active homo- or heterodimers.
MORF4 binds to transcription corepressors mSin3A and TLE, suggesting that these complexes may participate in transcriptional repression of genes involved in cellular senescence.
