Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Cellular senescence is the terminal non-dividing state that normal cells enter after completing their proliferative potential. Fusions of immortal human cell lines have defined four complementation groups, with Mortality factor 4 (MORF4) identified as a key member reversing the immortal phenotype.
MORF4 is a transcription factor-like protein localized to the nucleus, containing helix-loop-helix and leucine zipper motifs that enable formation of transcriptionally active homo- or heterodimers. It binds to transcription corepressors mSin3A and TLE, suggesting a role in transcriptional repression of genes involved in cellular senescence.
