Product Specific Information
The 10.1 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD64 (FcRI), a 75 kDa type I transmembrane protein. CD64 is the high-affinity receptor for IgG and is involved in antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), phagocytosis, and regulation of cytokine production. Monocytes and macrophages express CD64, while mature granulocytes and lymphocytes are negative.

- Flow cytometric analysis
- Immunohistology staining of frozen tissue sections
Applications Tested:
This antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage ≤ 5 µL (0.6 µg)/test. A test is defined as the amount of antibody staining a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number may range from 10⁵ to 10⁸ cells/test. Titrate antibody for optimal performance.
Each product contains:
- 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
- 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer
Important Notes:
- NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
- Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability assays.
- CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining.
- Add 5 µL per sample before combining with cells for best results.
- For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL cell sample containing 10³–10⁸ cells.
NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton technology based on novel nucleic acid dye structures engineered for controlled fluorescent signatures minimizing spillover and spread.

Target Information
CD64 (FCGR1A) encodes a high-affinity Fc-gamma receptor involved in immune response. It is one of three related gene family members on chromosome 1. CD64 dysfunction has been associated with cervical adenitis and tetrasomy 21.
