Target Information
53BP1 (P53-binding protein 1) plays a crucial role in tumor suppression and is a substrate of ATM kinase. Upon DNA damage, 53BP1 becomes phosphorylated and localizes to sites of double-strand breaks. It is involved in checkpoint signaling during mitosis, enhances TP53-mediated transcription, and participates in DNA repair to maintain genomic stability.
