Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MMP3 (stromelysin‑1) belongs to the peptidase M10A subfamily. It is secreted as a pro‑protein and activated by extracellular protease cleavage. The active enzyme binds zinc and calcium ions and exhibits metallo‑endopeptidase activity, degrading collagen, gelatin, fibronectin, and laminin. MMP3 is involved in wound repair and tissue remodeling; mutations in its gene are associated with coronary heart disease 6.
