Product Specific Information
The GIGD7 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse TIGIT (T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains), a 26 kDa protein in the poliovirus receptor (PVR) family. In mice, TIGIT is expressed in follicular T helper cells; in humans, it is found on NK cells, regulatory T cells, follicular T helper cells, memory CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, but not on B cells or naive CD4+ T cells. TIGIT expression increases upon T cell activation.
TIGIT interacts with members of the PVR and PVR-like families, including CD155, mediating interactions between NK/T cells and antigen-presenting cells, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells expressing PVR proteins.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
- Applications Tested: Mouse splenocytes; ≤0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Titrate for optimal performance.
- Fluorochrome Information: Brilliant Violet™ 480 emits at 479 nm, suitable for cytometers with violet (405 nm) laser.
- Compatibility: Not compatible with methanol-based fixation.
- Recommended Buffers: Use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions when using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies.
