For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).


Target Information

The 26S proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex composed of two main structures: a 20S core and a 19S regulator.

  • The 20S core consists of four rings with 28 non-identical subunits (two rings of 7 alpha subunits and two rings of 7 beta subunits).
  • The 19S regulator includes a base (6 ATPase subunits and 2 non-ATPase subunits) and a lid (up to 10 non-ATPase subunits).

Proteasomes are abundant in eukaryotic cells and function in ATP/ubiquitin-dependent peptide cleavage via a non-lysosomal pathway.
The immunoproteasome variant plays a key role in processing class I MHC peptides.
This gene encodes one of the non-ATPase subunits of the 19S regulator lid and may also participate in TNF signaling through interaction with the TNF type 1 receptor.
A pseudogene has been identified on chromosome 1.
