For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The 26S proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex composed of a 20S core and a 19S regulator.

• The 20S core contains 4 rings of 28 non-identical subunits (two rings of 7 alpha and two rings of 7 beta subunits).
• The 19S regulator consists of a base (6 ATPase and 2 non-ATPase subunits) and a lid (up to 10 non-ATPase subunits).
  Proteasomes are abundant in eukaryotic cells and cleave peptides in an ATP/ubiquitin-dependent manner.
  A modified form, the immunoproteasome, processes class I MHC peptides.
  PSMD2 encodes a non-ATPase subunit of the 19S regulator lid and may participate in TNF signaling through interaction with the TNF receptor.
  A pseudogene is located on chromosome 1.
