Product Specific Information
This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The TRIM29 protein belongs to the TRIM family and contains multiple zinc finger motifs and a leucine zipper motif. It is proposed to form homo- or heterodimers involved in nucleic acid binding and may act as a transcriptional regulatory factor related to carcinogenesis and/or differentiation. It may also play a role in the suppression of radiosensitivity, being associated with the ataxia telangiectasia phenotype.
