For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The FBXO8 gene encodes a member of the F-box protein family, characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid F-box motif. These proteins are subunits of the SCF (SKP1–Cullin–F-box) ubiquitin ligase complex, which mediates phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination.

F-box proteins are classified into three types:

• Fbws: containing WD-40 domains
• Fbls: containing leucine-rich repeats
• Fbxs: containing other protein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs

FBXO8 belongs to the Fbxs class and contains a C-terminal region similar to yeast Sec7p, a regulator of vesicular protein transport. This human protein may interact with ADP-ribosylation factors (ARFs) and exhibit ARF-GEF (guanine nucleotide exchange factor) activity.
