Product Specific Information
This antibody reacts specifically to Histone H3 monomethylated at Lysine 79 (K79me1).
No cross-reactivity with dimethylated (K79me2), trimethylated (K79me3), or other methylations in histone H3.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal clones for production.

The N-terminal tail of histone H3 can undergo post-translational modifications such as methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation, influencing chromatin structure and gene expression.
