Product Specific Information

This antibody is specific for human LGR4 protein. BLAST analysis suggests cross-reactivity with LGR4 from chimpanzee, orangutan, and macaque based on 100% sequence homology with the immunizing peptide. Cross-reactivity with other species has not been determined.
Target Information
G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) contain seven transmembrane domains and mediate extracellular signal transduction via heterotrimeric G proteins. LGR4 belongs to the orphan GPCR subfamily and is expressed in various human tissues including brain, adrenal gland, heart, kidney, liver, skeletal muscle, ovary, pancreas, placenta, prostate, spleen, stomach, testis, thyroid, and spinal cord.
