Product Specific Information

This antibody is specific for human LGR4 protein. BLAST analysis suggests cross-reactivity with LGR4 from chimpanzee, orangutan, and macaque (100% homology with immunizing sequence). Cross-reactivity with other species has not been determined.
Target Information
G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) contain seven transmembrane domains and transduce extracellular signals through heterotrimeric G proteins. GPCR LGR4 belongs to the orphan receptor subfamily. Expression has been documented in human brain, adrenal, heart, kidney, liver, skeletal muscle, ovary, pancreas, placenta, prostate, spleen, stomach, testis, thyroid, and spinal cord.
