Target Information

LRRK2 is a multidomain protein containing kinase, GTPase, and leucine-rich repeat domains. Mutations in LRRK2 are associated with Parkinson’s disease. The protein localizes mainly in the cytoplasm and also associates with the mitochondrial outer membrane. LRRK2 belongs to the leucine-rich repeat kinase family and includes ankyrin repeat, LRR, kinase, DFG-like, RAS, GTPase, MLK-like, and WD40 domains.
