Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific.
They combine multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, providing the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, and the consistency of recombinant production.

Functionally, these antibodies behave like polyclonal antibodies by recognizing multiple epitope sites, offering higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets.
However, because they are produced recombinantly, they maintain a consistent mixture of light and heavy chains across lots, eliminating the biological variability typical of polyclonal antibodies.

Target Information

FITC (fluorescein isothiocyanate) is a fluorochrome dye that absorbs ultraviolet or blue light and emits visible yellow-green light.
This emission ceases when the excitation light is removed. FITC labeling enables rapid and accurate localization of antigen-antibody interactions in cells, tissues, or other biological structures.

FITC is widely used as a marker for antibodies in immunofluorescence techniques due to its stable conjugation and preservation of protein activity.
Anti-FITC antibodies can be used for:

• Isolating FITC-labeled cells via magnetic bead sorting
• Reducing background signal in fluorescence-based assays
