Product Specific Information
The monoclonal antibody 3D10 recognizes Ly49H, a member of the C-type lectin Ly-49 multigene family of receptors found on natural killer (NK) cells. Ly49H, like Ly49D, lacks the ITIM motif and contains an arginine in the transmembrane domain, suggesting it functions as an activation receptor.
- Expressed in a subset of NK cells but not NKT (NK1.1⁺/CD3⁺) cells
- Expression confirmed in C57BL/6 and NWNA mice, not in Balb/c or DBA/2 strains
- No cross-reactivity with Ly49A, C, D, or G2
- Addition of 3D10 antibody to cell cultures induces lysis of target cells

Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometry using C57BL/6 splenocytes. Recommended ≤1.0 µg/test in 100 µL volume. Optimize titration as needed.

Target Information
Ly49H is a C-type lectin receptor expressed on NK cells. It acts as an activation receptor and is not expressed on NKT (NK1.1⁺/CD3⁺) cells. Natural killer cells can express multiple Ly49 family proteins.
